• completed an apprenticeship as a horse trainer at Siegfried Herröder's stables
• worked for 6 years in the Dutch commercial stable for Jan Tops

**Sporting successes

• in April 2014 he won the World Cup Final in the saddle of his Westphalian gelding Cornet d'Amour
• won the German Championships in 2013 and 2014
• 6th place in the individual classification at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014 and 4th place with the German team
• 2019 victory in the Global Champions Tour in Hamburg with his mare Jasmien vd Bisschop
• Together with Christian Ahlmann, Marcus Ehning and Simone Blum, he won silver with the German team at the 2019 European Championships
• Victory in the World Cup show jumping competition in Mechelen at the end of 2019
• Victory in the Grand Prix in Doha 2020
• Victory in the Grand Prix in Wellington in the USA in spring 2021
