Attention breeders! With the rimondo Performance Check, you now have the opportunity to easily assess offspring performance, heredity and breeding progress!

One stallion stood out in particular with his sensational free jumping at the 2016 Westphalian main licensing: Karajan.

The son of Kannan x Verdi, born in 2014, impressed the professional audience with his great overview, perfect manner, agile body and above-average basic gaits. With the end of 2023, the first Karajan offspring have now been active on the show jumping arenas for two years.

In the rimondo Performance Check we take a close look at the performance of Karajan's offspring to date!

Jumping tests for young horses class A*/A**

To date, a total of 98 Karajan offspring have competed 973 times in novice (A* & A**) level tests for young show jumpers. In 50% of them, the final result was a score of 7.5 or better. In 21% of the starts, the offspring even achieved results of 8.0 or better. 40 of the 98 offspring placed in at least 50% of their tests.

A closer look at the individual horses reveals that a full 92% of Karajan offspring were able to secure a maximum score of 7.0 or better, with 39% of the offspring achieving a maximum score of 8.0 - 8.4 and 16% even achieving a score of over 8.5.

Show jumping tests for young horses class L

So far, 48 offspring of Karajan have competed in 225 tests for young show jumpers at elementary (L) level. In 48% of them, the final result was a score of 7.5 or better. In 21% of the starts, the offspring even achieved scores of 8.0 or better.

31% of the offspring were already able to secure a score in the 8.0 - 8.4 range at this level. A score of 8.5 or better was achieved by 8%.

Show jumping tests for young horses class M

11 of Karajan's offspring have already gained their first experience in medium (M) level show jumping competitions in the 2023 season with a total of 33 starts and were able to present themselves very well at the new level. The highest scores achieved by the horses were in the 7.5 - 7.9 range for four horses and in the 8.0 - 8.4 and over 8.5 range for three horses each.
