• Two daughters: Greta (born 2002) and Philippa (born 2010)
• Active in dressage, jumping and eventing
• Running her own show stable with the aim of training young horses up to championship level

Sporting successes

• Silver at the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro with the team
• Team gold at the Olympic Games 2008 in Hong Kong and 2012 in London
• Bronze with the dressage squad at the 2022 World Championships
• Bronze in the individual classification at the World Championships 2018
• Team gold at the World Championships in 2006 and 2014
• Individual gold at the European Championships in 2017 and 2019
• Team gold at the European Championships in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2019
• German Champion in eventing in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2009 and 2020
• Awarded the title of "Reitmeister" by the FN in 2012
