Brigg was bred in 2015 by our dear friend Aneta Saethre in Oslo, Norway. He is the son of the infamous Brijol (approved with excellent scores in 7 European countries) and Garlina by Gråggi who is also an outstanding stallion with most excellent scores and reputation). Brigg is the ONLY direct son of Brijol to be imported to the U.S. and, as a weanling in 2016, he did so with two Brijol daughters who were also the only of their kind. Brigg spent his early years training to be a Western riding and driving horse with Megan Boardman in Oregon, Wendy Bauwens and Jacklynn Matthews in Arizona. Jacklynn dominated countless Western show circuits with Brigg in hand and under saddle. Brigg rode the Grand Canyon- rim to rim, managed cows, and has sired 9 foals to date with many more to come in 2025. Brigg is an upright, compact, athletic grey stallion with shorter, heavy canon bones and a strong hind force. His outstanding Norwegian bloodlines paired with his charismatic, personable temperament give him a very lovable horse with great motivation and versatility. Brigg is slated for the Florida dressage show ring with Lauren Chumley during the winter of 2025. We expect them to rise high in excellence.
