Romanaleva comes from the famous Leva line (mare line 58, breeding family 711), a line from which many good horses come, which are wanted at auctions, studbookshows and in sport. This line has been delivering successful sport horses for generations, including several internationally 1.60m jumping horses like Oliver Q. This stallion comes from Euleva, the half-sister of the grandmother of Romanaleva the mare Valeva, other international jumpers are, Miss ZB and Extreme, Scooby Doo, Ufo, Felleva, Navantus, Parandash. Another well-known showpiece from this line is the Grand Prix show jumper Navantus (s.Gervantus) by Jillian Terceira, who was the reserve combination for the Olympic Games in Hong Kong.

Romanaleva SAG's father is Laroche who comes from the Sinaa line (mare line20 - breeding family 398). The great-grandfather of Romanaleva SAG, the stallion Weratosthenes, comes from the Granta line (mare line 81 - breeding family 183). Via Romanaleva SAG, therefore, three famous mare strains are brought together. Mare lines that belong to the top 40 of all mare lines in the Netherlands as can be seen in the article of De Paardenkrant.
