Painted Black, an impressive KWPN stallion born in 1997, has made a name for himself both in international dressage and breeding. Under the rider Anky Van Grunsven, he achieved his greatest successes, including the prestigious win of an FEI Grand Prix 5* and a placement in the World Cup. Later, Morgan Barbançon continued his success story by achieving over 15 placements in international dressage competitions.

In breeding, Painted Black has produced over 100 offspring, many of whom have achieved remarkable success. Notably, the approved stallion Bon Bravour, who already counts over 160 offspring, stands out. Enzo Ferrari, another approved son, also showcases the potential of this stallion.

His offspring impress not only with their sporting achievements but also with their breeding successes. The state premium mare Biementa CL and the elite mare Bijou are examples of his impressive hereditary power. A favored pairing is seen with damsires like Jazz, who have produced particularly many successful offspring.
