The Cor de la Bryère pedigree can be found in 70% of all Holstein horses. The stallion bought by the Holsteiner Verband was the winner of the 100-day test in 1971. Particularly successful offspring were achieved when mated with the mares Tabelle, Furgund and Deka. His licensed sons include Calypso I and II, Caletto I, II and III and Cor de Brillant. On April 27, 2000, Cor de la Bryére was euthanized at the age of 32 due to an acute heart condition.
