The only pure TB by AUGUSTINUS -xx his sire,who stood in Celle and was that year naturally covering(im Natursprung).Ridgmont did his 70-Day-Test in Warendorf for the Landgestuet.He scored in the test with the judges:walk: 9 trot: 8 canter: 7,88 Test-Rider(rideability) 7,5 . With these marks he scored as a pure TB higher than the following Half-TB: LONDONDERRY Champion of the Han.Koerung LAURENTIANER World-Champion Young Horses, GRAND PRIX DRESSAGE successful LONGCHAMP FEI-Dressage But RIDGMONT failed the test.After he had lost a shoe before the CROSS-COUNTRY he scored: 2 . Stadium-Jumping 5 . Jumping-Talent 5,5 .but free-jumping: 7,13. Due to a system that does not give a TB a special chance,he could not stand at the Westfalian State Stud He was for 2 years in training with Rudolf Zeilinger working on S-Level-Dressage. After he covered a few TB-mares selected for dressage-breeding(not racing),like the dam of LOVELY CRUSADOR(at stud in Landgestuet Neustadt/Dosse,by LAURIES CRUSADOR),he had to be put down in Austria due to an accident.His offspring shows outstanding movement,as was to be expected.His 1/2 brother RED SUN by WINDWURF ran for 8 years 39st-4w-12pl left the track healthy. His sire AUGUSTINUS had several licensed sons,his offspring was very successful in dressage,jumping and eventing.AKITOS his 1/2 brother stood in Warendorf,shows very positive now in pedigrees as broodmare-sire.AKITOS won the VOLLBLUT-HENGSTSCHAU ,KOELN.AUGUSTINUS was 3rd. AUGUSTINUS was by KRONZEUGE a son of NECKAR,who was sire of VOLLKORN,WAIDMANNSDANK,VIERZEHNENDER,VENATOR and BALFOUR(dam sire of the CONNERY son IMPERIO(5x3 line-bred to Neckar)winner of the 2008 German 5-y-o CHAMPIONSHIP-DRESSAGE on L-Level with a score of 9,2.
