Cornet’s Balou, an outstanding Oldenburg show jumping stallion from the 2006 cohort, has made a name for himself both in international sport and breeding. Under the rider Darragh Kenny, Cornet’s Balou achieved remarkable successes, including victories in international S***** show jumping competitions. He also celebrated further successes with Brian Moggre, who triumphed with him in jumping competitions up to the 160 cm class.

In breeding, Cornet’s Balou has produced over 100 offspring, including several licensed stallions such as Cahir N and Cornetan, who was also awarded as a premium stallion. Particularly noteworthy is Cornet's Cambridge, who, with a jumping RPI of 94, ranks among the best in his class and has achieved international successes, such as a World Cup placement.

Preferred pairings with damsires like Chacco-Blue have proven to be particularly successful. Cornet’s Balou remains a sought-after sire, passing on his exceptional aptitude for show jumping to his progeny.
