Rider: Charlotte Dujardin Valegro was born in 2002 in the Netherlands. He was trained from a young age by his owner Carl Hester. Valegro's nickname at Stable Hester is Blueberry. In 2007 his current rider, Charlotte Dujardin, came to the Hester stable and took over Valegro's training after Carl discovered the talent in his pupil. In 2010, Charlotte and Valegro won the British Championships and just a year later competed in the Grand Prix, including at the CHIO Aachen. Since the beginning of 2012, the two have been unbeatable in the large arena and have crowned their careers with individual and team gold medals at the Olympic Games in London. In 2013 the duo won the European Championship. Several world records go to her account. At the European Championships in Aachen 2015, Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro won the silver medal with the team. In the individual ranking, the couple was able to celebrate the world championship title both in the Grand Prix Special and in the freestyle. Two gold, one team bronze, that's the result for the couple in Aachen. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro won team silver and individual gold. Valegro was retired from the sport as part of the 2016 London Olympia Horse Show.
