Breeder: Denis Hickey, Luddenbeg, Ballyneety, Co. Limerick. , Ireland. Later competed under the name of Inis Meain and went on to become an international eventing champion for the Irish Army Equitation School. Ridden by Capt. David Foster, he was part of the winning Irish team that took the gold medal at the European Eventing Championships at Luhmühlen in 1979. Inis Meain also claimed individual bronze at the European Championships in Horsens, Denmark two years later with Capt. Brian MacSweeney on board.
