Der König, a promising Westphalian stallion from the 2020 cohort, is at the beginning of his career as a sire. Although he has not yet achieved any competition successes himself, he impresses with his pedigree. His sire, Desperados FRH, a Hanoverian of international renown, has achieved over 100 placings in dressage and is among the most successful stallions of his generation. On the dam's side is Jazzmine, whose sire Jazz, a KWPN stallion, is known for his outstanding breeding power.

Last year, Der König presented his first crop of foals, which is eagerly anticipated. The combination of Desperados FRH and Jazz as the dam's sire promises excellent potential for dressage. Even though the stallion himself has not yet achieved sporting successes, his lineage suggests a promising future as a sire.
