Donaudiamant, a promising Mecklenburg stallion, has already made a name for himself as a premium stallion at a young age. Born in 2019, he has placed in over 70 percent of his starts in dressage horse competitions under rider Libuse Mencke, achieving two victories. Notably, he qualified for the 2024 Bundeschampionat for five-year-old dressage horses.
His sire, Donauschall, also a Mecklenburg, has demonstrated his athletic abilities with over 30 placings in 59 starts. The dam, Damona, a Mecklenburg mare, contributes a valuable bloodline to breeding through her sire Dramatiker, a Trakehner.
Donaudiamant presented his first foal crop the year before last, showcasing his potential as a sire. Despite his young age and the still limited number of offspring, he is already regarded as a promising breeding stallion due to his sporting successes and excellent pedigree.
