Velvedere, a promising Westphalian stallion from the 2019 cohort, has already achieved remarkable success in his young career. Under the rider Melanie Geßmann, Velvedere celebrated over five placings and three victories in dressage horse tests at the L level, impressively demonstrating his suitability and potential in dressage. He also proved successful in the A level dressage horse tests with over three placings under Anna-Giulia Savic.

The stallion is sired by the renowned Valverde NRW, whose impressive record of over 70 placings from 80 starts underscores his breeding prowess. Velvedere's dam, Salina Lou, carries the noble bloodlines of the Oldenburg Sir Donnerhall I, known for his over 2300 offspring who are successful in dressage worldwide.

Velvedere presented his first foal crop the year before last and shows promising signs of continuing his ancestors' legacy. With a strong genetic foundation and initial sporting successes, Velvedere positions himself as an emerging sire in the dressage sport.
