Barton VDL, a promising Oldenburg stallion, impresses with his excellent pedigree and breeding potential. Bred from the renowned KWPN stallion Bordeaux 28 and the Oldenburg mare Honigblüte, Barton VDL combines the best of both bloodlines. His dam's sire, the influential Sir Donnerhall I, is known for his over 2300 offspring who excel in dressage worldwide.
Although Barton VDL has not yet achieved significant sporting success himself, his potential is already evident in breeding. His licensed son Pittsburgh-ST is a promising example of the quality of his progeny.
Under rider Hermann Burger, Barton VDL showed early signs of his talent in a Class A dressage horse test. Even though he has produced only a few offspring so far, his suitability as a sire, particularly in the dressage field, is already apparent.
