The 19-year-old Spanish dressage rider Sergio Morón Basoco, who runs the Convixion Horses dressage centre in the northern Spanish region of La Rioja with his family, has developed well under the expert guidance of Lauro Aguiló with the Danish horse that his family bought for him at Helgstrand Dressage when Sergio was only 15 years old. In spring 2017, they bought the DV gelding Farnham L by Fürst Rousseau/Hochadel/Welt As (breeder Karsten Bundgaard), and Sergio Morón won gold with Farnham L at his very first Spanish championships, the 2017 Children's Championships. In both 2018 and 2019, the team won silver at the Spanish Junior Championships and in autumn 2020 they took bronze at the Spanish Young Riders Championships in Camarma de Esteruelas and were also part of the Spanish Young Riders team at the 2020 European Championships in Hungary. The elite of Europe's young dressage riders are currently meeting in Hagen, Germany, for the Future Champions Tournament, where the Danish riders have made an excellent impression. Yesterday, Sergio Morón Basoco and Farnham L took fourth place in the team classification for young riders and were the first to break through the ranks of the best-placed Germans. With a score of 70.882 %, they also set the international team record.
