Bourbon, a promising Westphalian stallion from the 2016 cohort, is already showcasing his potential in both sport and breeding at a young age. Under the saddle of Lukas Maier, Bourbon achieved initial successes in dressage horse tests at Class A and riding horse tests, winning in both starts.

Although Bourbon's sporting career is still in its early stages, he already has 15 offspring that demonstrate his breeding prowess. His pedigree is impressive: His sire, Baccardi, a successful Westphalian stallion himself, boasts over 120 offspring and numerous placements. On the dam's side is the Westphalian mare La Belle, whose sire Lissaro, a Hanoverian, provides a strong genetic foundation with over 370 offspring.

Bourbon's lineage suggests a particular aptitude for dressage, and his initial successes underscore this predisposition. Although he has not yet produced any licensed sons or premium mares, Bourbon remains a promising sire for the future.
