Damon Hill NRW was winner of the 30-day test in 2003, winner of the Westphalia coat of arms, Westphalia champion, NRW champion and two-time world champion of young dressage horses. He was trained by Ingrid Klimke at a young age. She describes the chestnut stallion on her website as follows: "Dami enjoys the days when he is allowed to do his dressage work on the mountain and has a lot of fun with gymnastic jumping. It is a lot of fun to train such a talented horse." With his victory at the Westphalian Championships for 3-year-old stallions at the Westphalian Week, he attracted attention with a dream score of 9.3. Further successes with young horses followed. In 2004 he was third at the Bundeschampionat. In 2005 and 2006 he became world champion of young dressage horses in Verden. At the age of 7 he won several advanced level dressage tests and at the age of 8 he placed second in the final of the Nuremberg Castle Cup in the Frankfurt Festhalle. The career went on like that. With his rider Helen Langehanenberg, he became German Champion, World Cup winner, European Champion and finished fourth at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. His former rider Ingrid Klimke describes the handsome chestnut as a stallion with a strong character and expression, who conquers hearts with his charm. In November 2014, it was announced that Damon Hill would no longer be ridden by Helen Langehanenberg.
